Rector
and Senior Pastor - All Missions
Fr.
Tom was ordained in 1989 and has served parishes in Florida, Ohio, and
Indiana, all but one of those years as a Rector (a priest in charge of
a parish Church). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Religion from Butler University in 1984, a Master of Divinity
degree from Virginia Theological Seminary (Episcopal) in 1989, and a
doctoral degree in Parish Revitalization from McCormick Seminary in
Chicago in 1997. A life-long member of the Anglican Church, Tom
was born, raised, and even ordained in the Episcopal Church before its
actions led him to prayerfully and faithfully disassociate himself
from it. He petitioned the Right Reverend Frank Lyons, the
Anglican Bishop of Bolivia for both oversight and protection.
Bishop Lyons accepted Fr. Tirman as a priest in the Northern
Convocation of the Diocese of Bolivia effective January 1, 2007.
He and the entire Parish transferred
into CANA in October of 2007, and into the Anglican Mission in the
Americas in December of 2009. Tom was appointed the Network
Leader of the St. Michael Network of the Heart of America Network in
the Anglican Mission in the Americas by Bishop David "Doc" Loomis in
that same month.

Tom will be
planting and forming new congregations in Indiana, as well as
Illinois, reaching out to the unchurched and providing disaffected
orthodox Episcopalians with viable options for remaining in full
Communion within Anglicanism.
Tom is married to Amanda, who is also a life-long Anglican. Tom's daughter
Stephanie is 18, his son Scott is 17. Tom and Amanda welcomed a
son in 2007, Benjamin Scott, who turned 3 this summer!!
Tom has served in many capacities as a priest of the Church. He
has been very active in Cursillo, and was the Spiritual Director of
Cursillo in Indianapolis for many years up to his departure. He
was also the Keynote Speaker at the National Episcopal Cursillo
Seminar in Kansas City, Missouri in 2006.

The
Reverend Michael Henry, Priest
Vicar
- Christ the King
Fr. Michael is a double alumnus of Oral
Roberts University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Theological and
Historical Studies in 1975, and his Master of Divinity degree in
December of 1979. While this may seem like an unusual
educational background for an Anglican priest, this was a time when
all of the unofficial campus worship was a blend of the sacramental
and the charismatic. Michael fell in love with this rich experience of
worship; and so, it was ORU that led him into the historic church.
He served as a transitional deacon and as a
priest in the Evangelical Orthodox Church in Indianapolis and Kokomo
and later served as a priest in the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal
Churches in Kokomo.
Michael and his wife, Linda have four adult
children, and eight grandchildren. Michael and Linda discovered St.
Michael The Archangel by means of this website, and started attending
St. Patrick’s in Westfield in December, 2008. They’re
delighted with the worship, fellowship, vision and mission of the
Network, and of the Anglican Mission in The Americas.
While Christ The King in Kokomo is now their
home church, Michael will serve all missions.
The
Reverend Tony Bender, Deacon
Vicar,
Holy Spirit
Deacon Tony is a Brownsburg resident, and
is the Chief Information Officer for the Indiana
Department of Child Services. He was ordained a Deacon in the Anglican
Church by the Right Reverend Roger Ames, Bishop Suffragan of CANA on
June 1, 2008.
Tony has been a member of the Anglican Church since 1984.
He and his wife Denise celebrated 30 years of marriage in August of
2008! Deacon Tony serves all Missions.
Mrs.
Sarah Sampson, Director of Music

St. Michael the Archangel Anglican Church in August 2007. She has been a church pianist and
accompanist for the past six years, serving in various churches
throughout Indiana. In May 2007, Sarah graduated from Taylor

she is pursuing a Master of Music at Ball State University, where she
studies with Dr. Ray Kilburn. Since beginning her musical studies over
twelve years ago, Sarah has been involved in many different musical
activities, including teaching private lessons, accompanying
