THE ALPHA COURSE A Practical Introduction to the Christian Faith A ministry of St. Michael the Archangel Anglican Church St. Michael the Archangel Anglican Church is committed to ongoing instruction and teaching in the Christian faith. The Alpha Course is a course in the basics of Christianity and it consists of 10 weekly sessions on Sunday evenings, and a day-long retreat held in the middle of Alpha on a Sunday afternoon . Each week’s session begins with a light dinner, followed by a video teaching, and ends with table discussions. It's a safe, non-threatening, fun way to learn about faith. People attend for a wide variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church on and off all their lives but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. The Alpha Course is for them all! Session Topics:
